Cleaning is a breeze - the silicone panels can be removed from the frame for deep cleaning, though this is only recommended occasionally, as the panels are not meant to be removed every time. The containers simply fit in the dishwasher like a plate for regular maintenance.

While SoftShell is designed to hold thicker foods, water-like liquids may leak, especially when the container is squeezed. It is not intended to be air-tight. To reassemble the panels, start at the outer corners and press every half inch or so.
